Is Chart GT an alternative to TradingView?
Yes. Chart GT runs most Pine Script v5 and v6 indicators and strategies, has real-time data for US stocks, ETFs and crypto on its paid plans (15-minute delayed on Free), and those plans cost less, from $9.99 a month. It also charts CME futures and shows options chains, 15 minutes delayed on every plan, and charts Polymarket prediction markets as a percent chance. It covers fewer markets than TradingView: no forex, bonds or international stocks yet.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, free forever, with 15-minute delayed data: 1 chart per tab, 3 indicators per chart, 10 price alerts, 3 technical alerts and 5,000 bars of history. Paid plans add real-time data and more; see Pricing.
Which markets are covered?
US-listed stocks and ETFs; 100 major crypto pairs priced in US dollars and aggregated across exchanges; 29 CME Group futures as continuous front-month contracts (stock indexes, rates, energy, metals, currencies, grains and bitcoin); options chains for US stocks and ETFs; and the busiest Polymarket prediction markets, each outcome charted as its chance from 0 to 100%. Charts run from 1-minute bars up to 12-month bars. 1-minute history covers recent weeks; 5-minute bars and up go back years (futures two years). Intraday stock charts can include the pre-market and post-market. Forex and international stocks are not covered yet.
Will my TradingView Pine scripts run?
Most Pine v5 and v6 indicators and strategies run as they are. Library imports and fundamental-data requests are not supported yet.
Do alerts work with my browser closed?
Yes. Alerts run on our servers and reach you by email or webhook. On real-time plans, crossing a price level or a line you drew fires the moment the price touches it; script conditions and other alerts are checked at each bar close.
How live is the data?
Real time on paid plans: stocks update live during US market hours (and in the pre-market and post-market on intraday charts), crypto streams around the clock with full trade volume, and prediction markets update with every Polymarket trade. On Free, prices are 15 minutes delayed. Futures and options are 15 minutes delayed on every plan. Intraday stock volume currently counts IEX trades only, while daily bars use consolidated volume.
