1. What Chart GT is
Chart GT is a charting platform that runs in your browser. You open a live chart of a US stock, ETF or crypto pair, add indicators or write your own in Pine Script, and set alerts that our servers check at every bar close, so they fire even when your browser is closed.

2. Where the data comes from
Stock and ETF prices come from Tiingo. Intraday bars use trades on the IEX exchange, so intraday volume counts IEX trades only; daily and weekly bars use consolidated volume from all US exchanges. Crypto prices are aggregated across major exchanges and stream around the clock.
Stock intraday history goes back to December 2016, daily bars to each stock’s listing, and crypto intraday bars two years; how many bars a chart loads depends on your plan. Company filings come from SEC EDGAR. Prices can be delayed or revised: check them with your broker before you trade.
3. Pine Script on Chart GT
Most indicators and strategies written in Pine Script v5 and v6 run as they are: paste the code into the Pine Editor and add it to a chart. Strategies get a Strategy Tester with a list of trades and performance metrics. Library imports and requests for fundamental data aren't supported yet.
Scripts you publish can be open-source (anyone can read and fork the code), protected (the code stays hidden and runs on our servers), invite-only, or paid.
4. How alerts work
A price alert watches a level; a technical alert watches a condition in any script, such as a crossover; a watchlist alert watches a condition across a whole watchlist. Our servers check them at the close of every bar on the alert's timeframe and send an email or call your webhook, with or without the chart open. Each plan has its own number of alerts.
5. Plans and limits
| Plan | Price (monthly / annual per month) | Charts per layout | Indicators per chart | Price / technical alerts | Bars of history |

6. Compared with TradingView
Chart GT is built for people who like TradingView's charts and Pine Script but want live data and more alerts for less. It covers fewer markets (no futures, forex or international stocks yet) and has no broker trading or mobile app. The full comparison goes feature by feature.
7. Who it is for
- Active traders who chart US stocks and crypto and want alerts that never sleep.
- Pine Script authors who want to run, share or sell their scripts.
- Anyone priced out of paid charting plans: the free plan has live data and alerts.
